I am a textile designer and maker using colour, pattern and texture to create textiles that are appealing to the eye and to the touch. I work with both embroidery and print and explore how the traditions and techniques of both disciplines can influence each other and combine in surface design.

My work is rooted in a love of traditional textile techniques. I am particularly inspired the often overlooked skills of domestic needlecraft and I explore how these can be adapted for contemporary contexts.
